Alpenheat

Alpenheat footwarmers make sure that you are warm where it counts: on your feet! When it’s cold, freezing starts in the limbs. There the blood circulation decreases and the body temperature drops first, causing your wellbeing or even worse your health to suffer. Our shoes are getting attacked by rain, snow and sweat all the time. This dampness is ideal for bacteria and fungi. Shoe dryers provide an effective and flexible solution for gently drying wet shoes, gloves and clothes. No more slipping on snow and ice thanks to shoe spikes. The shoe spikes provide an excellent protection against slipping on icy areas. The answer to a cold chill and an icy winds are attachable thermo-insulations made out of neoprene, to put on your ski boots.

Warm and dry – guaranteed! Feeling comfortable – guaranteed!

THE HEAT IS ON!

Backcountry Access

Fresh tracks, Fresh ideas.
Thats what Backcountry Access (BCA) is all about.
Backcountry Access is owned and run by dedicated backcountry skiers and snowboarders that live for fresh lines and are stoked to be part of the outdoor industry. Our passions are ski touring and innovation. We constantly strive to break new ground with our products and our ideas: we invented the first digital transceiver, the first integrated shovel and probe, and the first freeze proof hydration system. We also invented the concept of knowledge leadership. We believe knowledge and education are even more important than our products.

Holmenkol

Holmenkol is the oldest wax manufacturer in the world, founded in 1922 when skis still had wooden bases. They invented the different coloured waxes in 1948 with the silver / red / blue waxes for different conditions. In 1989 they launched the first Fluor waxes and in the 1990s the TOPSPEED finish products which are 100% Fluor were introduced. This unique product line makes wax choice much simpler and has lead to countless victories in ski racing. The Nanowax line was introduced in 2002, an innovative product which uses nanotechnology to give skis & boards the edge over anything else on the market.

SmartWool

More than merino sheep test SmartWool’s products. From the beginning, SmartWool has been tested by athletes looking for a better solution to conventional materials.
The company’s home—in the mountains of Steamboat Springs, Colorado—is the perfect testing ground for SmartWool’s products, whether it\'s by summertime mountain biking or earning powder turns at the town’s world-class ski resort. SmartWool headquarters\' location also creates another benefit; the town attracts a wide range of world-class athletes, many of whom eagerly test SmartWool’s latest and greatest wool offerings. World champion skiers help develop SmartWool’s ski socks, top triathletes help test running and cycling socks and professional cyclists help create road cycling and mountain biking socks.
SmartWool provides some financial support to its athletes, specifically for their causes, communities and sport. Although most, if not all, our athletes wear SmartWool products because they work. Much of our product feedback comes from athletes sponsored by other companies, as well. We’ve even had athletes write into their contracts that they still be allowed to use SmartWool socks. The reason is simple. When it comes to comfort and performance, they know nothing but the best will do.

SnoKart

As a snowsports enthusiast, I have experienced the challenges of getting my kit to and from the slopes every season. I know the highs and I also know the lows. I’ve felt the pride in being on the first lift up in the morning and the exhilaration of the first run down through virgin powder, when everybody else is in bed. I’ve lived the dream.

I’ve also tried to haul my coffin bag down the stairs and cram it into a car that’s too small for a bag that’s too big and inflexible. I’ve been turned back at check in for having boot bags that are ‘too big’ and SkiBoard Bags that are too heavy. I’ve experienced different check-in rules for different people and different rules at different airports with different airlines.

I’ve been there, done it and I’ve learnt. It made me want to make snowsport luggage better. To discuss, develop, test and design something more useful, to make bags that make sense and make one think: ‘why did not I think of that?’

So my team and I thought long and hard about the journey to and from the slopes and decided to design a system of luggage that’s made to help make that journey as stress free and economical as possible. Our range of bags are therefore easy to handle, pack and carry. They are manageable and versatile. They allow for convenient packing and trouble-free loading that can help avoid some of the ever-changing airline surcharges that sometimes seem designed to make our journeys to winter resorts as difficult and expensive as possible.

For us the journey starts in the bedroom or the loft, with the bringing together of kit and clothing for the impending adventure to the slopes. There’s no point designing new products unless they are different from everything else in the market, so the formula was pretty straightforward - make it simple and make it functional.

The world is a busy place. Snowsports are our escape from the rat race. So our aim is to help minimise the hassles that might hold you back from the slopes. We’ve designed our gear around this, to improve your mobility, increase your convenience and protect your gear. Ultimately we would like to help you enjoy and be more relaxed on your journey.

Whether driving, taking the snow train or jetting to your winter paradise, SnoKart aims to free up your options so that you can fast forward to the slopes…

Lastly, I would like to encourage you to test our gear, evaluate it, and let us know what you think and how it could be improved. This helps us in our dedication to improve our existing products. It also helps in the design of new products that are simple and functional, products that will ultimately help you to fast forward to the slopes…

Enjoy!
